Description

The Leviton T5835-W is a 20 Amp white decora outlet with two USB type-C charging ports that provide up to 2X the charging power with Power Delivery (PD) technology (no data transfer capability). With up to 30-Watt of charging power on a single port, the T5835-W is the most advanced, powerful USB in-wall charger on the market. It supplies a higher level of power for faster charging of even power hungry laptops. With Smart Chip technology, the outlet recognizes and optimizes charging requirements to ensure each device gets the power level it needs to charge fast and efficiently.
Examples of maximum charging outputs are:
Single port connected to PD-enabled device: 15VDC@2A (30W) or 9VDC@3A (27W)
Single port connected to non-PD enabled device: 5VDC@3A (15W)
Both ports connected to devices (PD or non-PD): 5VDC@3A each (up to 30W total)
For added safety, the outlet features built-in overcurrent protection to prevent electronics from receiving too much power, which can damage the device. The internal thermo regulator also prevents electronics from overheating. The receptacle is Tamper-Resistant with built in shutters, so no harmful objects can get inside the outlet, improving child safety.
