Axxess LC-GMRC-LAN-01 CAN bus Interface for GM from 2006
The Axxess CAN-BUS Interface is required to replace the factory-fitted original radio or navigation system with a retrofit radio, for example from Alpine , Kenwood, Pioneer or other aftermarket devices. Suitable for GM vehicles from 2006, the Interface ensures various functions, including:
High level input
Warning and signal tones
Supports extended power supply (RAP)*
Receiving the following CAN bus functions
You can always keep the Interface up to date with the latest software via a USB port. The Axxess CAN bus Interface provides the following signals for your audio system when retrofitting a radio / navigation system:
Fader setting
Balance setting
Speedometer, handbrake, reversing signal
Why a CAN bus Interface ?
Today's radio or navigation systems not only reproduce the music of the radio or navigation commands, but are also deeply networked with the vehicle electronics. This communication structure, called CAN bus, connects control units, sensors, multimedia devices and much more.
Therefore, when replacing the factory radio / navigation system, a vehicle-specific CAN bus Interface required to maintain communication between all devices integrated in the CAN bus.
