Envirosafe Refrigerant is a replacement for Both R12 and R134a.
The cans say R134a replacement because R134a is the newest refrigerant and R12 is not made any more and there is simply not alot of R12 systems left but this refrigerant works GREAT in both R12 and R134a systems.
That is why this kit includes both a R12 charging hose and a R134a charging hose beacuse it works on both R12 and R134a.
*Note:  All products in this kit are not usually used at one time to charge a single vehicle.

As indicated on the EPA Web Site under "Refrigerant Sales Restrictions", and as of January 01, 2018, refrigerant R134a and R1234yf that is sold in containers of 2 Lbs. (32 oz.) or less, does NOT require EPA Certification to purchase.
